I have the honour to forward the

enclosed extract from a letter by the Registrar-General,

dated the 4th. of last August, and to endorse his recon-

-mendation that the Government should grant the West Point

Dispensary and District Plague Hospital a strip of Crown

Land 13 feet in width along the Western side of Inland Lot

1793 in addition to the area granted by Lord Crewe in Des-

-patch No. 133 of the 3rd. July, 1908.

Inland Lot 1793 was valued in 1908

at $2 per square foot and charged with Crown Rent at the

rate of $600 per acre per annum: and the 13 feet strip

(125 feet eight inches by 13 feet equals 1,633 square feet)

would at these rates be worth:-
